Gun Control Freight Train!

Everything changed in Ohio in the fight for gun rights on February 14 – the day of the Parkland, FL shooting.

Within hours, legislators were screaming for new gun-control laws.

Within a week, Bloomberg’s organizations had draft language announced in over 30 states.

And within a month, tens of thousands of gun-control militants mobbed our Statehouse demanding radical gun-control laws that were backed by Republicans like Governor Kasich and legislative leadership!

If gun owners don’t stand up and fight back right now and stop this gun-control freight train, we are in for a huge battle in the coming lame-duck session and 133rd General Assembly in 2019!

That’s why I hope you will read the email we sent out last week — about our plan for November — and then help us put this plan into action.

The stakes are high.

Please read this and take action at once!

Re:         OGO’s Plan for November

The November elections are rapidly approaching.

With our Governor’s race now rated as a “tossup,” gun-grabbers are more emboldened than ever.

They believe they’re poised to seize the governor’s mansion and  Ohio’s ENTIRE state government!

With control of our Governorship and BOTH houses of our General Assembly, they’ll IMMEDIATELY move to RAM through all sorts of radical gun control schemes as soon as the legislature convenes in January!

The good news is, Ohio Gun Owners is doing everything we can to hold off this impending gun control DISASTER.

In fact, my staff and I have been working literally around the clock for days now, and we’ve just put the finishing touches on Ohio Gun Owners’ critical 2018 Plan for November.

I believe it’s absolutely critical you review it right away.

And with time running out, I’m counting on your generous financial support to help to put this plan into action.

As you’ll see, I’ve budgeted $180,000 to put Ohio Gun Owners’ Plan for November into action.

Subtracting money already in, we still must raise $104,900 between now and October 16 to launch the full program.

I know that may sound steep.  However, it’s only a fraction of what Michael Bloomberg and his anti-gun pals are going to spend.

But time is running out.  So I need to hear from you as soon as possible!

Without your support, I’m afraid the gun-grabbers could very well get their way this election year.

I can’t begin to explain what a DISASTER that would be.

Instead of building on the momentum we built over the past two years to pass Stand-Your-Ground or Constitutional Carry, our backs will be against the wall.

With thousands of (likely paid) protestors flooding our Statehouse grounds — and the media openly cheerleading for the outright DESTRUCTION of our Second Amendment freedoms — the Gun Control Lobby will move to ram through their entire radical agenda, including:

***  A total BAN on AR-15s and any other so-called “assault weapon” they think looks “scary.”

Don’t be fooled, this could easily include many commonly-owned handguns, shotguns and other firearms used for hunting, like this year’s SB260;

***  So-called “Red Flag” Gun Confiscation Orders, which would allow government goons to seize your guns just because someone (even a bitter ex-girlfriend or husband) complains about you.

No matter how innocent you are, you could still spend months and thousands of dollars on legal fees trying to get them back;

***  Statewide Gun Registration under the guise of so-called “Universal Background Checks.”  As anyone in law enforcement could tell you, the ONLY way such a system could be enforced is if the state government keeps track of every gun and gun owner in the state.

And as you and I know, registration is just the first step toward CONFISCATION.

Sadly, I’m afraid even all this may not be the end of it.

“Shall Issue” CHL permits could be on the chopping block as well, allowing local law enforcement agencies to deny you a permit to carry a concealed weapon just because they don’t like your race, religion or political views.

That’s why Second Amendment supporters need to do all we can to hold the line by fighting back hard NOW.

There are so many races all over our state where Ohio’s gun owners can make a difference, including:

>>>  House District 53.

Here, State Representative Candice Keller, a leading pro-gun champion in the Ohio House, is being targeted by Rebecca Howard, an anti-gun schoolteacher who hates every gun right America has ever had;

>>>  House District 82.

Here, anti-gun Democrat Garrett Baldwin, who wants to pass virtually every gun-control bill you can think of, is attempting to DEFEAT incumbent State Representative Nino Vitale, the author of H.B. 590, Ohio’s Stand Your Ground Bill;

>>>  House District 78.

Here, anti-gun community organizer Amber Daniels is trying to take out pro-gun State Representative Ron Hood.  Representative Hood has been a champion for gun owners in Ohio, while Daniels believes in a Statewide Gun Registry and “Red Flag” gun seizures.

That’s why Ohio Gun Owners is not going to pull any punches leading up to the November elections.

In fact, I’ve put together a four-part plan to ensure that no candidate can hide from their records, surveys or public statements, including:

1)   A two-phase hard-hitting mail program designed to EXPOSE candidates’ true records on Second Amendment issues;

2)   An Internet, phone and email blitz calling anti-gun candidates to the carpet for their refusal to move on pro-gun reforms;

3)   An earned media blitz where you and I will bring the Second Amendment issue to the forefront of the 2018 elections;

4)   A hard-hitting radio, newspaper and perhaps even TV ad campaign hitting Michael Bloomberg’s top allies in Ohio for their radical records and public statements.

I need your help to put our plan into action.

As I mentioned, time is running out and we still must raise $104,900!

Won’t you please agree to your most generous gift of $100 (or even more if you can afford it) to help put it into action?

If that’s too much, perhaps all you can afford is $50 or at least $25.

Whatever you can give, please agree to act IMMEDIATELY.

The 2018 elections are going to be absolutely critical.

The good news is, candidates listen most closely to the folks back home when running for office, so NOW is the time to take action.

I’m chomping at the bit to launch this program.  But I can’t do it without your support.

So please rush me your most generous contribution of $100+, $50 or $25 right away!
