If elected governor, would you sign legislation like HB495, the Ohio Freedom to Carry Act, into law? This legislation fixes gaps in our current Permitless Carry law by restoring carry rights to adults 18-20 years old, allowing citizens that can legally purchase a weapon to possess and transport weapons in every lawful manner, renaming Ohio’s Concealed Handgun License to a Concealed Weapons License, and deregulating firearm suppressors and short-barreled rifles/shotguns under Ohio law.

If elected governor, would you sign legislation like HB498 into law that would enhance Ohio’s self-defense statutes by enacting pre-trial immunity hearings, implementing civil lawsuit protection for gun owners, and providing for the use or threatened use of deadly force if an individual is attacked in a place they have a lawful right to be?

If elected governor, would you sign Second Amendment Protection Act legislation, like HB382, which prohibits the ‘commandeering’ of Ohio law enforcement for the purpose of enforcing federal gun control laws, agency “rulings” and executive orders, with strong enforcement and civil penalty provisions?
