Time to Start Pushing. Pass SAPA (HB382) Now!
The General Assembly is back in session and the Second Amendment Protection Act (HB382) must be at the very top of the agenda.
With Trump’s DOJ in place, Ohio gun owners have a rare window to lock in long-term protections that stop federal gun control from being enforced by Ohio officers.
We’re done with speeches. We want results.
Why Now
If we don’t pass SAPA now, a future leftist administration will do what Biden already tried:
weaponize Washington against gun owners, then attempt to conscript Ohio cops to enforce it.
SAPA says “No.” Ohio officers enforce Ohio law, not D.C. edicts that change with political winds.
What SAPA Accomplishes:
- Puts Ohio voters in charge of Ohio enforcement priorities.
- Shields gun owners from D.C. “rulemaking” and executive-order whiplash.
- Sets durable guardrails that outlast swings in Washington.
- Forces politicians to choose: stand with gun owners or with the gun-control lobby.
This Fight Is Working
Thanks to grassroots pressure, SAPA launched with a wave of support. But momentum dies without action.
As legislators return to Columbus, they need to feel the heat in their inboxes and phones. Keep the pressure white-hot until HB382 is on the move and passed.
If you can, chip in to help OGO scale this fight statewide. Every dollar fuels harder pressure on wavering legislators until SAPA is law.
