Our End-of-Quarter deadline is tomorrow at midnight, and I’m not going to let Ohio Gun Owners walk into that close short on political gun powder.
Here’s why. Tomorrow, politicians scramble back to the Statehouse for a 90-day gas tax holiday. The Freedom to Carry Act isn’t on that agenda. So unless gun owners stand up and fight, they’ll vote on the gas tax, leave your gun rights in a drawer, and then turn around and ask for your vote.
You’ve seen this playbook before.
Campaign as pro-gun. Dodge the hard vote. Hope you forget by November. And while weak Republicans stall, the Radical Left keeps building the licensing, registration, and gun-ban agenda it’ll unleash the first time it gets the votes.
Early in-person voting and absentee ballots start Tuesday, October 6, and Election Day is November 3. That’s a short window, and we’ve got to use every day of it to find gun voters, expose who stabbed you in the back on the Freedom to Carry Act and the Second Amendment Protection Act, and run district-targeted ads before ballots are cast.
If we finish short tomorrow night, I’ll have to pull ads and cut our election program. I refuse to let weak Republicans think gun owners checked out.
So I’m asking you to chip in $15 before tomorrow at midnight and keep the heat on while they’re in town.
