The politicians are on summer break.
And if you’ve been a regular reader of our emails or follow us on our Facebook page, you know that the House Federalism Committee did not pass H.B. 201 out of Committee.
But H.B. 201, or Constitutional Carry, is very much alive and well!
In fact, H.B. 201 is alive until December 31, 2018!
However, we aren’t about to sit back on our collective duffs and “hope for the best!”
That’s why I’m hoping you’ll click and submit the petition to your state representative insisting they support and vote YES on Constitutional Carry!

For years here in Ohio the leadership in the Statehouse said, “NO!”
For years Ohio media smugly said, “NO!”
For years other gun organizations said “NO!”
And with Bloomberg now targeting Ohio for implementing his radical gun-control agenda, his “Moms Demand Action” chapter lines up at the Statehouse to say, “NO!”

But then the members and supporters of Ohio Gun Owners went to work earlier this year, getting dozens of co-sponsors before the bill was even introduced.
Then they poured hundreds of calls and emails into the members of the House Federalism committee, getting it past Sponsor, Proponent and Interested Party testimonies.
That’s why I’m counting on your help to ensure we keep up our momentum!
As you’ll see, the petition to your elected representatives simply urge them to support and vote YES on Constitutional Carry.
With your help, my goal is to spend this summer and early fall gathering up to 100,000 petitions in support for this bill to deliver to the politicians as soon as they come back into session!
Constitutional Carry is now the law in twelve states.
What it does is simply restore the right of every law-abiding Ohioan to carry a firearm to protect themselves and their families without begging government permission.
And like I’ve said before, the states that have passed it experience ZERO increase in violent crime, accidental shootings or vigilante justice.
Why?
Because law-abiding gun owners are safe and reasonable people, regardless of a mandate in law!
In fact, in the states that have already passed Constitutional Carry firearms trainers are reporting an INCREASE in demand for training, even though the state no longer commands it!
I think Ohioans are no different. I believe gun owners in Ohio are some of the safest, most reasonable people in the country.
And I believe we can make Constitutional Carry a reality here in Ohio with your support today.
So please take a moment to sign your petition in support of this critical legislation right away!
The statistics prove what you and I already know is true, that more guns in the hands of law-abiding citizens means less violent crime.
In fact, a study commissioned by the Obama White House found that those who have a firearm are less likely to be injured in a criminal attack than those who depend on a thug’s good will.
But there are plenty of politicians right here in Ohio that are going to do everything they can to stopper, block and prevent our success.
The good news is that with the majorities in Columbus today, your pressure could be the final ingredient we need to make Constitutional Carry a reality.
We’ve already proven your pressure can have an enormous impact.
With a tidal wave of grassroots support from good folks like you, Web, I’m confident we can force the politicians to vote the way we need.
But we have to keep the pressure up!
With the summer break only weeks away from ending, I’m really counting on your help.
My goal is to generate at least 100,000 petitions from Second Amendment supporters like you insisting that the politicians in Columbus take action on Constitutional Carry.
That means we’ll have to pull out all the stops with:
➜➜ A massive statewide mail and email program designed to generate pressure on politicians;
➜➜ A state-of-the-art Internet and social media campaign exposing any politician who dares to stand in our way;
➜➜ Hard-hitting radio, newspaper and even cable TV ads calling out anti-gun politicians who oppose Constitutional Carry.
Each and every one of these contact will send a loud-and-clear message to your elected officials: “Support H.B. 201 or find another job!”
So please take a moment to sign your petition right away!
Trust me. This will get the politicians in Columbus to listen. But I’m counting on your support to make it happen.
Every dollar you can give will go towards helping Ohio Gun Owners build support for Constitutional Carry — so I hope you’ll be generous.
Of course, if $100 is just too much, please agree to $50 or at least $25.
All the gun-grabbers’ regulations and bureaucratic red tape on carrying a concealed firearm do absolutely NOTHING to keep guns out of the hands of criminals.
All they do is create more innocent victims by stopping law-abiding citizens from legally carrying firearms to protect themselves and their families.
It’s up to you and me to wipe these infringements on our Second Amendment rights off the books here in Ohio.
