Constitutional Carry Needs Your Help, Web!

Constitutional Carry Needs Your Help, Web!

We’ve got to keep up the pressure to pass Constitutional Carry through the House Federalism committee!

Read below for the ACTION ALERT.

But first, as I’m sure you already saw, on Saturday evening in London, Islamic terrorists used a van to mow down innocent civilians.

After crashing into a bus stop, they lunged out and started slashing bystanders with knives, murdering seven and hospitalizing forty-eight.

Monday morning (yesterday) in Orlando, a guy walked into the place where he worked and killed four people before killing himself.

The London attackers didn’t use firearms. They used vehicles and knives.

The murderer in Orlando committed murder, ignoring the laws against murder.

Right here at Ohio State last year, an ISIS-inspired scumbag drove his vehicle into a group of students and jumped out and started stabbing people.

The point is, criminals don’t obey the laws.

And if they can’t use a gun, they use something else to commit their crime.

In today’s day and age, YOU are your own best defense. You are your children’s best defense, your spouse’s best defense.

And this is why we want to pass Constitutional Carry in Ohio – so that the maximum number of law-abiding citizens can defend themselves against these criminals.

As we’ve said before, the states that already have Constitutional Carry see a decrease in violent crime and an increase in demand for training!

Nor do they experience more “accidental shootings” or vigilante justice.

But we need to move fast if we’re going to keep Constitutional Carry moving forward.

ACTION ALERT

As I mentioned in our previous email, the next step in this process is for Federalism Committee chairwoman Kristina Roegner to hold “opponent testimony” hearings for H.B. 201.

That’s why I’m asking you to take a moment right away and contact her office!

When you get in touch with her staff, your message is simple: please schedule opponent testimony for H.B. 201!

➤➤➤ You can contact her by phone by calling 614.466.1177.

➤➤➤ You can send her a pre-written email by clicking her email address: [email protected].

If your browser isn’t compatible with the pre-written message, feel free to copy and paste the language below:

Dear Chairwoman Roegner,

As the recent attacks in London and Orlando have once again proven, criminals aren’t thwarted by limiting the Second Amendment.

States that have Constitutional Carry see a decrease in violent crime, an increase in demand for training and zero increase in vigilante justice or accidental shootings.

Time is running out before the legislature goes on summer break.

Please hold “opponent testimony” and any other required hearings quickly, and vote H.B. 201 out of committee and send it to the floor for a full House vote.

Thank you.

P.S. As the London terrorist attacks Saturday night proved once again, criminals will use whatever tools they need to carry out their murder-sprees.

A maximum number of law-abiding gun owners carrying firearms are their own best defense, and the best way to increase public safety.

And the best way to achieve that is to pass Constitutional Carry, like thirteen states have already done!

➤➤➤ So please read the email above and take a moment to contact House Federalism Committee Chairwoman Kristina Roegner and ask her to schedule the required hearings on H.B. 201, Ohio’s Constitutional Carry Act!
