We have to keep fighting.
The RINO establishment in Columbus is in bed with the gun-control lobby, particularly the political hacks at the FOP and the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association.
To be clear, these organizations don’t represent beat cops and constitutional law enforcement. They haven’t in fifteen years.
That’s why the Ohio Fraternal Order of Police, the Ohio Association of Chiefs of Police and the Buckeye State Sheriff’s Association have opposed and testified against every pro-gun bill in Ohio history.
And the reason that they’re trying to stop HB51 right now is because HB51 stops them from ever enforcing federal gun-control laws OR from receiving the federal monies that come with it!
Their number one ally in the Ohio House is Representative Cindy Abrams.

As you probably remember, Abrams is the “lady” Representative who walked up to me in the Ohio Statehouse last week and wailed “F*ck You Dorr.”
Worse, Abrams is ADMITTING in responses to constituents that she’s doing the dirty-work for the gun-control groups.
She wrote, “it’s crucial to note that numerous statewide law enforcement organizations, such as the Ohio FOP, Ohio Prosecutors Association, Ohio Chiefs of Police, and Buckeye Sheriffs Association, oppose HB51.”
These are the exact same organizations who tried to sabotage Stand-Your-Ground law, Constitutional Carry and even Concealed Carry back in 2004!

The fact is, because Cindy Abrams is the Benedict Arnold leading the fight for the Democrats and about six or seven RINO’s to block HB51, gun owners need to contact her right away!

Please ask to speak with her directly, because her legislative aide is straight up trying to limit access to Abrams.
When you get her on the phone, demand that Abrams apologizes for blocking the Ohio Second Amendment Preservation Act, especially when Joe Biden and the Democrats in DC are on the warpath against our gun rights!
But Abrams might refuse to come to the phone altogether.
If she refuses, you might be forced to contact her directly.

Please be polite but firm, and don’t let her lecture at you or shrill her nonsense about how the “law enforcement” oppose HB51.
OGO has been FLOODED with “off the record” messages from rank-and-file officers in FULL SUPPORT of HB51. Here’s a few:
“Vote yes on HB 51. I’m an Ohio LEO Sgt of 32 years in the *******, OH PD. The Constitution is about telling the government what they can and cannot do, not telling the people what they can and cannot do. Yes most people back the blue except Democrat cities that want to defund police. HB 51 is not about whether or not people back the blue. HB 51 is about reminding Law enforcement that they serve the people and should not enforce unconstitutional Federal laws created that can take 10-20 years to get to the Supreme Court. Nor should they assist agencies that have been overstepping authority by making people felons by rule changes versus Congress enacted constitutional laws. Currently the Federal politicians are after our 2A rights, and we see what happens throughout history in countries where guns are confiscated from citizens. We should be reminding LEO that it is not about Federal money, it is about protecting 2nd Amendment rights. Violence today is because of division and preaching hatred along with mental illness. Law abiding Gun owners shouldn’t be the targets versus hateful criminals.”

“I respectfully disagree with your opposition to HB 51. Perhaps in an era gone by when federal agencies were not used as a weapon against American citizens I would not be so adamantly in favor of its passage. Federal hearings are in progress investigating over reach by the FBI, IRS, ATF, DHS and other agencies. This over reach has grown into a monster to the point that rather than investigating terrorists these agencies are targeting school board meetings, churches and lawful gun owners. This fact is irrefutable. Feel free to prove me wrong. Years ago the Ohio FOP, OACP and Troopers Coalition opposed CCW laws in Ohio with outright deception and lies. As a member of two of those organizations, I testified in an Ohio Sub Committee hearing exposing those lies. I have already expressed my concerns to my Ohio representative and will continue to work for the passage of HB 51.”
And another:
“Start naming the names of those that are blocking or believing the B.S. the F.O.P., AND SHERIFF.S ASSN ARE SPREADING. My sheriff is president of the national assn. I can really put some pressure on him if need be. Please expose all that have been spreading these untruths so we can focus on the instead of pounding those individual leader who already support what we are trying to accomplish. Note I am retired peace officer and former f.o.p. member.”
And another:
“I just sent the requested text you wanted, and, for what it’s worth, I added that I am an honorably retired police officer out of Lodge 9, and that I AM MORE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE RANK ANF FILE VIEWS THAN OUR “LEADERS”. I hope it helps, I hope we’re successful.”
I could go on like this all day, especially from the active rank-and-file who would absolutely LOVE to speak out against this garbage from their “leaders,” but who cannot because of the reality of retribution.
That’s why we need to take action.

So don’t let her clamor on and on about how much she dislikes “direct-democracy.”
Don’t let her screech about how wrong it is for constituents to speak directly with a Representative.
Don’t let her vociferate about how if you don’t live in her district that your opinion doesn’t matter.
The fact of the matter is that, by becoming the militant voice of opposition to HB51 on behalf of the RINO class and the gun-control lobby, Abrams is trying to trample YOUR voice out.
