Senate Bill 357 Update: OGO Fights Back

I just wanted to give you a quick update on OGO’s efforts to curb stomp Senate Bill 357 and block Dolan’s attempts to unholy crusade against our gun rights.

As you know, Ohio State Senator Matt Dolan, a Republican, introduced a bill last week (SB357) that was chock full of everything Dolan, DeWine and Bloomberg want to see passed for Ohio.

(Note: for a full breakdown of SB357, including our analysis of why this bill could very likely pass during Ohio’s “Lame Duck Session” coming up after the November elections, click HERE)

On Tuesday afternoon, Ohio Gun Owners sent a letter on behalf of our membership to every member of the Ohio General Assembly, insisting both the Ohio House and Senate put Senate Bill 357 right where it belongs, which is in the trash can.

You can see our full letter to the politicians here.

The General Assembly might still be on recess, with the politicians probably enjoying lavish vacations on remote islands, but we aren’t waiting around and hoping they come back from vacation with a new inspiration to suddenly obey the Constitution!

Shutting this bill down early is critical in making sure we are successful in defending our gun rights.

And that’s where you come in:

Please submit your petition against this Republican-led assault on our gun rights today.

If you have already signed the petition, thank you for taking action!

OGO is gathering petitions against this right now and will be switching to direct-message contacts with your senators and representatives once they are back in Columbus.

In the meantime, please share our petition link, StopSB357.com, with everyone you know.

Our task is simple: keep the pressure cranked up in Columbus, because if we don’t, they’ll do exactly what Republicans in Indiana, Florida and Washington DC did and pass massive gun-control in the foolish hope they somehow appease the Radical Left.

And they must also remember if they don’t tow the line for gun rights that mobilized, angry gun voters will seek their vengeance come election time: just ask about-to-be-former Representatives Shawn Stevens and Mark Fraizer for proof.

OGO will be utilizing uncensorable direct mail, digital ads, text messages, and radio ads to make sure we succeed, so if you can give $100, $50, or even $17.76 right away, every dollar will make sure our program hits hard!

But please take action now and share our petition link with others, as that’s most important.

For Freedom,

Chris Dorr, Director
